Why do I share sponsorship with others?

On average, it takes approximately $135 - $195  per month to care for each orphan, which includes nutrition, clothing, shelter, and education. This care is extended to every child at the facility, even if they don’t have sponsors yet.

By breaking the amount into smaller increments, we can keep the cost from being prohibitive to a family hoping to sponsor a child. It also gives the child a broader base of support (multiple families vs a single family) both financially and spiritually. While it is certainly possible for one family or group to take all 5 (or 2) sponsorship slots, we feel that it is more holistic to have more people involved in each child’s story.
